Dear new members,

please remember that in order to participate in the challenges, you must be a member of the main comm as well as the Team you've picked. Please accept the invites I've sent you, otherwise you won't be able to view the challenges.

Hey you guys....

I've noticed quite a few people have requested membership in this comm. Well, to join in, you have to apply for one of the teams.

The link can be found in the sidebar, as well as the rules to our little land comm.

If you're not applying, there's simply nothing for you here, so....

If you are just watching this community, there is nothing for you here.
In order to see the entries and participate, you have to apply for a team.

That being said, Team Diner is need for more members.

If you think like: "Oh, but I can't join just another challenge community." there are still things to do here. If can't or won't participate in the challenges, you can help your team by taking part in the votings or games. Any form of participation will get you points.

I just wanted to let you know that I won't be home for the weekend.
I'll be going to Cologne and I won't be home until Sunday evening.

So all application requests and other questions won't be answered until then.

But, of course, feel free to ask anything if I'm being unclear about anything. It's my first time modding a Land community, so I'm learning with every question you have.

APPLY FOR A TEAM

1. Please answer all questions.

2. Your journal must be at least a month old and show signs of use--posts, friends, communities, etc.

3. Once you've been assigned to a team, you will be invited to join this community. Please don't ask to join before that. You can accept your invitation here. Invitations not accepted after 14 days are cancelled and you will have to apply again.

4.Read the rules before you apply.



IF YOU DO NOT PUT ALL 3 TEAMS IN YOUR ORDER OF PREFERENCE, I WILL ASSIGN YOU AS I SEE FIT. UNFORTUNATELY, I CANNOT ALWAYS GUARANTEE YOU'LL GET YOUR FIRST OR SECOND CHOICE.

Teams in order of preference: Babylon, Woody's, Diner

Please don't apply if you don't have time to participate in at least one activity every two weeks.

COMMUNITY RULES

1. Don't be rude.

2. Do not bash other teams or your teammates. Do not bash other characters or actors. You are certainly entitled to your opinion; just don't attempt to force that opinion on others.

3. You must participate in something at least once every two weeks. Inactive members will be cut from both the main community and all the sub-communities, as well.

4. Do not spam our communities. If you only want to join to pimp your icons, fic or your own communities, please don't. It's not allowed here.

5. Read the challenge rules. No points will be given to members who do not follow the rules in any given challenge. If you have a question, please ask.


WHAT HAPPENS

1. Games. This can be anything from luck games to word finds and everything in between.

2. Graphics. Our weekly graphics challenges can range from icons to wallpapers and posters.

3. Writing. Writing challenges are anything from drabbles, haikus and longer stories.

4. Gifts.

5. Social. We love to have discussions on various topics. We also have in-house team activities, parties and team bonding.


POINTS

You will receive points for activity participation. Points are given at the end of the challenge. Total team points are always displayed in the sidebar.

Please give me a favorite Queer as Folk quote in the phrase section of the appplication form. It should be different for everyone so if it's the same as the person before you, I'll know you didn't read these rules.
